What you get

You get one photo, the same as yours, with everything you brushed over taken out. AI works on the areas you brushed and fills them with background that fits the space around them.

Brush out people or objects. It uses 1 credit; the same credits work for video templates.

Ideas for using it

  • Tourists behind you at a landmark
  • A stranger who walked into a group photo
  • A trash can, cone or sign in a street shot
  • Clutter on the table before you post a food photo
  • Power lines across a sunset sky

Photo tips

  • Brush a little past the edges so the whole object is covered
  • Include the object's shadow or reflection in your strokes
  • Use Undo to take back one stroke, or Clear to start over
  • Small objects on plain backgrounds like sky, sand or walls usually come out cleanest
  • Start from the original photo, not a screenshot, so there is more detail to work with

FAQ

How do I remove a person from a photo?

Add the photo, brush over the person with your finger or mouse, and tap Make it. AI fills the space with background that fits around it.

Can I undo a brush stroke?

Yes. Undo takes back your last stroke and Clear wipes them all, so you can fix your selection before you tap Make it.

How much does Magic Eraser cost?

1 credit per photo. The Video Pack is $14.99 paid once and comes with your first video plus 100 credits, or you can pick Weekly ($6.99, 50 credits a week) or Monthly ($19.99, 150 credits a month).

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It runs in your phone's browser, so you brush with your finger and there is no app to install.

What if the filled area looks off?

Results can vary, especially when you brush over a large area. If a result came out wrong, email us and we'll return its credits.

Do you keep the photos I upload?

Your upload is deleted after 7 days and never used to train AI. The edited photo stays in your studio for 30 days so you can download it.
